Angel M. Fuentes Mateos is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in regulatory affairs and project advising within the biotechnology and agricultural sectors. Currently serving as a Project Adviser at the European Research Executive Agency since November 2021, and also volunteering with CEBE - Spanish Scientists in Belgium, Angel M. Fuentes Mateos has previously held key positions at HaDEA, the European Commission, Pfizer, Belchim Crop Protection NV, Syngenta, and DuPont. With a robust academic background including a PhD in Molecular Biology from the University of Reading and degrees in Biotechnology and Fundamental Biology from Universidad de Oviedo, Angel M. Fuentes Mateos has a proven track record of managing regulatory processes, providing strategic guidance on biotechnology, and evaluating research proposals at a European level.
