Denis Martins, Ph.D., serves as a Senior AI Researcher at Samsung Electronics since November 2023, and has been a Research Affiliate at ERCIS since October 2015. Previously, Denis was a Postdoctoral Research Assistant at the University of M¨¹nster, overseeing data science projects and collaborations with industry partners, resulting in numerous peer-reviewed publications. Denis's experience includes key roles as a Software Engineer at Stefanini and D'Accord Music Software, and as a lecturer at IBGM University, where engaging teaching methods led to impactful student projects. Denis holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of M¨¹nster, a Master's degree in Computer Engineering with a focus on Computational and Artificial Intelligence from Universidade de Pernambuco, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the same institution.
