Elena Stănescu is an experienced communication professional with a diverse background in public relations, media, and marketing. Currently serving as the Public Relations & Community Manager for the Directorate-General for Communication at the European Parliament Liaison Office in Romania since May 2018, Elena has also held various roles including Administrator at CHOTRONE Organics, where Elena founded a startup focusing on organic children's clothing, and Marketing Communication Manager at REKZE Laboratories, where Elena developed communication strategies. Earlier experience includes managing international PR for Elance, working as a Communication Consultant for IMAGE PR, and serving as Editor and Online Project Manager at Fokus Digital Services. Elena holds a Master's degree in Public Policy and Human Development from Maastricht University and a Postgraduate Degree in International Security from the European Academy of Diplomacy, complemented by a university degree in Journalism from the University of Bucharest.
