Silke Weiss currently serves as the Head of Funding Non Core Currencies and Special Transactions at the European Investment Bank (EIB) since October 2024. Prior to this role, Silke Weiss held various positions at the European Stability Mechanism (ESM) from January 2013 to October 2024, including Head of Funding and Investor Relations, Acting Head of Funding and Investor Relations, Team Lead Planning and Execution, Principal Funding Officer, and Senior Funding Officer. Earlier experience includes a Trader/Market Analyst role at Bundesfinanzagentur from March 2007 to December 2012, focusing on EFSF and Bund trading. Silke Weiss began a career in finance as a Liquidity Trader and Associate at JPMorgan Chase in London from 1999 to March 2007. Educational background includes studies at ICMA Centre and Karl-Rehbein-Schule in Hanau, Germany.
