Adam Bruun is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in international finance and development, currently serving as Head of Regional Representation at the European Investment Bank since December 2013, overseeing operations in Senegal, Cabo Verde, Gambia, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, and Mauritania. Previous roles include Principal Advisor for Central Asia and Ukraine energy and Moldova at the European Investment Bank, as well as Head of the Pacific Regional Office at the Asian Development Bank. Adam Bruun's earlier career featured positions such as Deputy Head of Division focused on Structured Finance in Africa, Caribbean, and Pacific, and Private Sector Development Specialist in the Pacific Department.
