Thomas Schmelzle is an experienced industrial designer currently working at SDI Technologies, Inc. since August 2022. Previous experience includes roles as a production designer at Nephros, where responsibilities involved creating various print materials for medical and commercial filtration, and as a graphic and web designer at Matrix Mirrors, focusing on web redesign and UI/UX. Thomas also served as a multimedia studio assistant at the Georgia Institute of Technology, providing poster printing services and technical assistance. Additionally, experience includes project work as a CAD modeling consultant for Children's Healthcare of Atlanta and leadership as the launchpad lead student coordinator at Georgia Tech. Thomas holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Product Design from the Georgia Institute of Technology and participated in an exchange program at Eindhoven University of Technology.
