Agus P. Djailani is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in private sector development and sustainable forestry. Currently serving as a Private Sector Expert at the European Forest Institute since June 2019, Agus has previously held roles such as Independent Consultant focused on market research and SME development, and Entrepreneurship Development lead with OPML's Multistakeholder Forestry Programme. With a strong background in facilitating sustainable business operations and community-based forest enterprises, Agus has also contributed as a Lead Facilitator for the Indonesia Biodiversity Foundation, providing inputs on regulations for Timber Legality Assurance. An expert in supporting the integration of sustainable practices across various organizations, Agus has worked with notable entities including the International Finance Corporation and Carrefour Global Sourcing. Academic credentials include an MBA in International Marketing and a BBA in Human Resources Management from Baruch College, as well as a BSc in Architecture from The City College of New York.
