Juan Manuel Calero Rodriguez is an established expert in industry and environment, currently working at the European Environment Agency since November 2020. Prior experience includes roles as a principal consultant and senior consultant in environmental policy and economics at Wood from November 2017 to October 2020, and as an environmental policy consultant at Amec Foster Wheeler from April 2015 to October 2017. Earlier positions featured an assistant consultant role at AMEC Environment & Infrastructure UK Limited, an internship in the Impact & Sustainability Department at Cafedirect, a research scientist position at Thames Water, and a Leonardo da Vinci internship with Umweltbundesamt Austria. Juan Manuel holds a Master of Science in Environmental Technology from Imperial College London and two master’s degrees in global change and environmental science from Universidad de Córdoba.
