Mireia Faro Sarrats is a communications professional with extensive experience in media relations, public affairs, and content creation. Currently serving as Communications Officer at the European Council on Foreign Relations since September 2022, Mireia previously held the position of EuroMeSCo Communications Officer at the European Institute of the Mediterranean. Earlier roles include Public Affairs Officer at the United States Consulate General in Barcelona, where responsibilities involved national media relations and education outreach, as well as various communications positions at organizations such as the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights and CIDOB. Mireia began a career in journalism as a correspondent in Vienna and holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Universitat Ramon Llull, complemented by a Master's degree in Human Rights from Universitat Oberta de Catalunya.
