Rafał Duczmal currently serves as the Chair of the Governing Board at EuroHPC Joint Undertaking, responsible for organizing and moderating meetings as well as representing the board in various external engagements. Simultaneously, Rafał Duczmal holds the position of Head of Global Challenges Section at Narodowe Centrum Badań i Rozwoju, overseeing areas related to health, climate, energy, and bioeconomy under the Horizon Europe initiative. Additional roles include representing Poland in multiple international partnerships and committees related to Horizon Europe and the European Open Science Cloud, contributing to strategic advice, policy development, and managing collaboration between stakeholders. With a strong foundation in physics education from the University of Warsaw, Rafał Duczmal has developed extensive expertise in research infrastructures and European funding programs, alongside earlier experience in IT services.
