Vancauwenberghe Alexander possesses extensive experience in the chemical and fertilizer industry, currently serving as Head Of Production at EuroChem Antwerpen NV since April 2012. Prior to this role, Vancauwenberghe held various positions at BASF from February 1986 to April 2012, including Production Manager and Asset Manager for Nitrophosphoric Acid and nitrogen-based fertilizers. Earlier career experience includes a role in Quality Control at Essochem Exxonmobile from October 1984 to February 1986. Vancauwenberghe holds a Master in Industrial Science, with a specialization in Chemistry, from Katholieke Hogeschool Brugge-Oostende, completed from 1978 to 1983.
