Derrick Macharia is a Trade Finance Executive at Euro Exim Bank since March 2023 and serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of both PAWANAX and MATAWIS, with the latter established in March 2024. Derrick has gained experience as an Extern at igniteXL Ventures, where insights were acquired regarding the investment process in venture firms, including the use of AI and research techniques for deal sourcing, investment analysis, and deal valuation. Derrick holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology from Kenyatta University, expected to be completed in July 2024.
