Amber Abernathy has held a number of positions in the biotechnology field since 2014. Amber began their career as a Cytology Prep Technician and Specimen Grossing Technician/Accessioning at Pathlogic by Neogenomics in 2014. In 2017, they became a Graduate Student Intern at UC Davis Medical Center. In 2018, they held the position of Graduate Teaching Assistant at California State University-Sacramento and Research Assistant at Memphis Meats. At the same time, they were also a GMP Manufacturing Scientist, Cell Therapy at UC DAVIS INSTITUTE FOR REGENERATIVE CURES GMP, where they were involved in project leadership, SOP editing, BR completion, and client communication. In 2021, Amber became a Quality Assurance Specialist at Angiocrine Bioscience, Inc. and a Technical Operations, Technical Writer at Nucleus Biologics. Amber is currently the Cell Therapy Manufacturing Lead at Eureka Therapeutics, Inc.
Amber Abernathy completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biology, General from California State University-Sacramento in 2015, after starting their studies in 2009. Amber then earned their Master of Arts (M.A.) in Stem Cell Research, Regenerative Cures from California State University-Sacramento in 2018.
