Gemma Ribas is an experienced intellectual property specialist currently working at the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) as an Intellectual Property Specialist at the Boards of Appeal since November 2023. Prior to this role, Gemma held various positions within EUIPO, including Legal Specialist Interim at the Cabinet of Boards of Appeal and a senior legal role at Garrigues. Gemma's career began at Fieldfisher Spain, progressing from an internship trainee to a senior intellectual property lawyer. Academic credentials include a Master of Laws in both International Business Law and the Bar Access Master from Esade, along with a Bachelor's Degree in Law from Universitat Pompeu Fabra and an exchange program at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore.
