Ignacio Muniozguren Garcia is a Policy Officer specializing in Electricity Market Monitoring at the EU Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (ACER) since April 2023. Previously, Ignacio served as a Junior Power Systems Engineer at Coreso SA, contributing to the integration of the European transmission grid through operational support for nine shareholder transmission system operators. Prior experiences include an internship at BMW Group in systems engineering focused on high-voltage battery development, an asset management internship at Degroof Petercam emphasizing ESG and sustainable investments, and a digital electronics internship at CRISA, contributing to the Sentinel 5 project for the European Space Agency. Ignacio holds an MSc in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University of Munich and an MSc in Industrial Engineering and BSc in Electromechanical Engineering from Universidad Pontificia Comillas.
