Jihad Richard Matta has extensive experience in the aviation industry, currently serving as Captain 380 and Head of Crew Recruitment, Performance and Support at Etihad since November 2004. This role includes overseeing the cabin crew department alongside pilot recruitment and fleet support functions, contributing to recruitment strategy for planned expansion. Prior to this, Jihad held various roles at Etihad, including Captain A380 and Deputy Head of Pilot Recruitment. Earlier career experience includes positions as First Officer and Flight Engineer with Royal Jordanian Airlines and Royal Wings. Jihad began training as a Cadet Pilot at the Royal Jordanian Air Academy, earning a certificate in Aviation from 1989 to 1991.
