Kris Kruse-Elliott is an experienced veterinary anesthesiologist currently working at Ethos Veterinary Health and SAGE Centers for Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Care since September 2018. In addition to anesthesiology, Kris serves as a ski instructor and instructor trainer at Sky Tavern, focusing on the Primary Movements Teaching System (PMTS) and coaching athletes in movement and mobility training. A Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Anesthesia and Analgesia since 1989, Kris previously held the position of president at the North American Veterinary Anesthesia Society from January 2020 to December 2021. Kris has a robust background in clinical anesthesia, management, and cardiopulmonary research, with prior roles as an anesthesiologist and veterinary medical director at AnimalScan, and as an associate professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Educational qualifications include a D.V.M. from Oregon State University, a Ph.D. in Pulmonary Physiology, and a residency in Veterinary Anesthesiology and Pain Management from North Carolina State University.
