Azzah Afandi has a range of work experience, primarily in the legal and research fields. Azzah most recently worked as a Research Analyst at ethiXbase since December 2020. Prior to that, they were a Research Analyst at Refinitiv from March 2018 to October 2020. Azzah also worked as an Advocate & Solicitor at Messrs. Salman, Apandi, Mizi & Azmi from October 2015 to August 2017. Azzah gained legal experience as a Pupil-in-Chambers at Messrs. Ezri & Co. from October 2014 to August 2015. Additionally, Azzah had a brief internship as a Legal Intern at the Bukit Mertajam Magistrate's Court in July 2012.

Azzah Afandi earned a Foundation in Law degree from Universiti Teknologi MARA in 2010. Azzah then pursued a Bachelor of Legal Studies (Hons) degree from the same institution, completing it in 2013. Azzah furthered their education by earning a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from Universiti Teknologi MARA in 2014. Azzah'sfield of study throughout their education was law.
