Daniel Schmitz is an experienced professional in the field of connected mobility and vehicle management, currently serving as Product Field Manager for Vehicle Cloud Services at ETAS since January 2023, where responsibilities include leading customer projects. Prior to this role, Daniel worked at Bosch from 2019 to January 2024, holding several key positions, including Chief Product Owner overseeing Agile Release Train development and operations, Regional Solution Field Manager focused on team building and customer acquisition, and Head of Shared Services managing service management and compliance. Earlier experience includes a Senior Manager role in automotive cloud platform development and project management positions at Bosch Software Innovations and Bosch, specializing in power electronics for electric and hybrid vehicles. Daniel holds a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, and Communication Technology from RWTH Aachen University, completed in 2007.
