Yaw Adu-Gyamfi is a Technical Advisor at ETALYC. Yaw was previously a Research Associate at Iowa State University from September 2014 to March 2016. Yaw was also a Research Associate at the University of Virginia from August 2013 to September 2013, where they worked on stress analysis of fatigue prone details in steel bridges and developing a data-driven bridge health index. Yaw Adu-Gyamfi was also a Research Assistant at the University of Delaware from September 2008 to July 2013.
Yaw Adu-Gyamfi's educational career began at Adisadel College, where they completed their secondary education. Yaw then attended Kwame Nkrumah'​ University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Geodetic Engineering. After working for several years, they decided to return to school and earned a Master of Civil Engineering from the University of Delaware. Yaw then continued their studies at the University of Delaware, earning a Doctor of Philosophy in civil engineering.
