Melissa Fisher, CFE has a long and accomplished career in the video game industry. Melissa began their career in 1997 as Chief Marketing Officer for Cox Target Media, the direct marketing arm of Cox Enterprise. In this role, they were responsible for franchisee territories in North America, South America, and Europe with ten owned & operated markets. Melissa then moved on to become Regional Director of Marketing & Promotions for Cox Media Group, where they grew promotions revenue by 72% in their first year with a CAGR of 26% in years 2 & 3.
In 2008, Melissa became Chief Executive Officer of Entertainment Promotions, offering both B2C and B2B products. During their time there, they reorganized the enterprise, delivering 30% cost savings and $6M EBITDA after three years of losses. Melissa also delivered four qualified Letters of Intent (pre-bankruptcy) from institutional investors and private equity firms with options including leveraged buy-outs, co-investment partnerships, and partial divestiture.
In 2012, Melissa co-founded 65 Incorporated and became Chief Executive Officer, revolutionizing Medicare enrollment with their software, i65. Melissa also co-founded In-Sight Location Technologies in 2014, a startup concept that was successfully sold to iGPSWatch.com in 2018. In 2019, Melissa co-founded Esports Tower, the largest developmental esports clubs in North America, and is currently their Co-Founder & Integrator (COO/CMO). Finally, they will be joining ESTV as Chief Marketing Officer in 2022, the first-ever dedicated 24/7 linear esports channel and AVOD service.
Melissa Fisher, CFE, has a diverse educational background. Melissa obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business from Houghton University. Melissa then went on to earn a Master's degree in Business Management from Regent University. Melissa has also completed coursework in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies at Nova Southeastern University, Marketing Strategy at Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, and Pricing Strategies & Tactics at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including Advanced Search Engine Optimization from the American Marketing Association in 2011, Certified Product Manager (CPM) from Pragmatic Institute in 2010, Direct Marketing Executive from the American Marketing Association in 2006, and Certified Franchise Executive (CFE) from the International Franchise Association in 2012.
