Karmel Tall currently serves as the Manager of Distance Counseling Service at the Estonian Social Insurance Board since April 2022. Prior to this role, Karmel held various positions at Swedbank Estonia, including Head of Daily Banking Sub-Department and Learning & Development Expert from May 2017 to April 2022. Karmel was also the University for Seniors Program Manager at the University of Tartu from July 2018 to April 2022. Additionally, Karmel has experience as a Lecturer at GIS-International and the University of Tartu, and served as Project Manager and Assistant Lecturer at the University of Tartu between 2003 and 2017. Karmel's background also includes work as a Psychotherapist at the Center for Advancement of Gestalt Therapy. Karmel holds an MA in social work and social policy from the University of Tartu, completed in 2009.
