Gert Rüütli is an experienced professional in UAS operations and aviation safety, currently serving as the Head of UAS Operations and Special Solutions Engineer at Droon.ee (Meridein OÜ) since July 2024. Prior to this role, Gert worked as a UAS Instructor and ATO/FNPT Safety Specialist at the Estonian Aviation Academy from April 2023 to July 2024 and briefly held the position of Pseudopilot with the European Space Agency in March 2023. Gert has also gained experience in air traffic management through roles at Latvijas Gaisa Satiksme and Estonian Air Navigation Services in early 2023. Earlier work includes technical support at ZÄP Smart Hygiene and administrative duties at AS Kesko Senukai Estonia and Pintmann Group OÜ. Gert holds a Bachelor's degree in Air Traffic Service from the Estonian Aviation Academy, completed in 2023.
