Tao Zheng, Ph.D., MBA, is an accomplished professional in the beauty and cosmetics industry, currently serving as Executive Director of SPF and Makeup Charter Innovation at The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. since June 2019. Zheng leads innovative teams responsible for developing prestige sunscreen products and breakthrough technologies across multiple high-profile brands, including Estée Lauder, Clinique, MAC, and Tom Ford. In addition to ongoing roles on the Scientific Advisory Board for Cosmetics & Toiletries and as a member of the Society of Cosmetic Chemists' Committee On Scientific Affairs, Zheng has previously held key positions at Edgewell Personal Care and Avon Products, where significant advancements in sun care and skin care innovation were achieved. Zheng's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati and an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business.
