Wendy Fraser has extensive experience in various roles within the healthcare and community services sectors. From 1989 to 1992, they worked as a Clinical Mental Health Nurse Specialist at Manly Hospital. Wendy then moved on to St John's Youth Services, where they served as the Manager of Women and Children's Homelessness Services from 1996 to 2000. Wendy joined SA Health in 2000 and held the position of Regional Manager for Community Drug and Alcohol Services until 2010. During this time, they also took on various executive roles within the organization. From 2010 to 2012, Wendy worked as the Manager of Vision and Sensory Services at Guide Dogs SA/NT. Wendy then joined Baptist Care (SA) Inc as the Executive General Manager of Community Services from 2012 to 2015. Wendy's next position was at Minda Incorporated, where they served as the Senior Operations Manager for Supported Independent Living Services and In Home Care from 2015 to 2019. Currently, they are employed at PQSA, with previous roles as the Director of Lifestyle Support, Chief Operating Officer, and the current position of Head of Operations starting in 2023. Throughout their career, Wendy has demonstrated strong leadership skills and a commitment to quality service delivery.

Wendy Fraser has a diverse education history. Wendy completed an Executive Leadership Transitions Program at Murdoch University in 2013 and a Clinical Leadership Program at the Royal Adelaide Hospital from 2005 to 2009. Wendy also pursued additional training in various therapy approaches, including Narrative Therapy at Dulwich Centre in 2002, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy at Flinders University in 2002, Group Psychotherapy at Mary McKillop School from 2000 to 2002, and Couple and Family Therapy at Bower Place in 2000. Furthermore, they obtained a Graduate Diploma in Ethnic, Cultural Minority, Gender, and Group Studies from the University of Adelaide in 1995 and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from the same university from 1991 to 1993. Wendy also holds a Diploma in Management from TAFE in 1992 and an Advanced Psychiatric Nursing degree with a specialization in Mental Health from NSW College of Nursing in 1990. Wendy further pursued training in Gestalt Therapy at NSW College of Nursing that same year and completed a course in Psychoeducation for Families at Rozelle College of Psychiatry. Wendy began their education with a General Registered Nurse degree at the Royal Adelaide Hospital from 1983 to 1986 and later obtained a Master of Social Work (MSW) from Monash University in 1998.
