Sherri de Coronado currently serves as a Subject Matter Expert in Semantics at Essex Management, LLC, a position held since February 2021. Prior to this role, Sherri de Coronado had a distinguished career at the National Cancer Institute, where roles included Program Manager of the Semantic Infrastructure Section, Acting Director of Semantic Services within the Center for Biomedical Informatics and Information Technology, and Senior Scientist in Bioinformatics, focusing on controlled terminology and semantic services. Sherri de Coronado's academic background includes an MBA in Management of Science and Technology from The George Washington University, an MS in Biophysics and Molecular Biology from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, and a ScB in Physics from Brown University, along with time at the United States Naval Academy.
