Mat Sutherland has over two decades of experience in data analysis and asset management, currently serving as a Data Analyst in Enterprise Data Enablement at Essential Energy since August 2011. Previous roles at Essential Energy include Geographic Information System Specialist, Asset Data Coordinator, and Asset Data Maintenance Team Leader. Prior to this, Mat Sutherland worked at Country Energy from July 2005 to August 2011 as an Asset Data Maintenance Officer and LV Data Capture Officer. Earlier in the career, Mat Sutherland gained experience as a Junior Electrical Technician at Nielsen-Kellerman Co. from January 2002 to July 2005. Mat Sutherland holds a degree in Geospatial Intelligence from Curtin University and additional educational credentials from the University of Canberra.
