Alex Kouzemtchenko is a technology executive with extensive experience in software engineering and machine learning. Currently serving as the CTO and Co-Founder of Espresso AI since May 2023, Alex focuses on optimizing queries and computational efficiency in data warehouses using machine learning and large language models. Prior experience includes a senior software engineer role at Google from March 2017 to May 2023, specializing in natural language processing and deep learning, as well as senior engineering positions at White Ops and Coverity. Additional roles include security software development at Microsoft Corporation and various positions at Azimuth Security, NICTA, SIFT, and stratsec. Alex holds a degree in Computer Science from UNSW, completed between 2008 and 2010.
