André de Aragão Azevedo currently holds the position of Director of the Microsoft Digital Development Program since September 2022 and serves as a member of the Board of Advisors for the Europe Startup Nations Alliance, contributing to the European Union's agenda for entrepreneurship. Previously, André de Aragão Azevedo served as the Secretary of State for the Digital Transition in the XXII Government of Portugal from October 2019 to March 2022, and held multiple roles at Microsoft from 2012 to 2019, including National Technology Officer and Government and Healthcare Lead. André de Aragão Azevedo’s early career involved various legal advisory roles within the Portuguese government and institutions in Macau, alongside a brief teaching position at the Macao Polytechnic Institute. André de Aragão Azevedo holds a degree in Law and Economics from the University of Lisbon, earned between 1990 and 1995.
