Prosanta Dutta is an experienced electrical and protection design engineer with extensive expertise in developing protection schemes for high voltage projects. Currently serving as Lead Protection Design Engineer at eSmart Networks since April 2023, Prosanta has previously held significant positions at g2 Energy Ltd as Senior Electrical & Protection Designer from October 2017 to June 2023, and as a Lead Protection Design Engineer at Power On Connections and ESM Power Ltd. Notably, Prosanta has led protection design teams on projects ranging from 11kV to 132kV for various Independent Connection Providers (ICP) and has a solid foundation from earlier work as a Senior Protection Engineer at g2 Energy Ltd. Prosanta Dutta holds a B.Sc. in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology, earned between 1978 and 1982.
