Vojtech Belling serves as the Executive Director of the Financial Regulation and International Cooperation Department at Česká národní banka since September 2014, and is also a Vice-Chair and member of the Board of Supervisors and Management Board at the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) since July 2018. Belling has a background in academia as a lecturer and research scientist at Univerzita Jana Evangelisty Purkyně v Ústí nad Labem and has held various positions at Úřad vlády České republiky, including State Secretary for EU Affairs. Previous experience includes roles at the European Shoah Legacy Institute, Charles University in Prague, and the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs of the Czech Republic. Belling's educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Political Science and multiple master's degrees from Charles University, along with studies at Heidelberg University.
