Martijn Bos

Member Of The Consultative Working Group Of The Corporate Reporting Standing Committee at European Securities and Markets Authority

Martijn Bos is a seasoned professional in the field of corporate reporting and governance, currently serving as a member of the Consultative Working Group of the Corporate Reporting Standing Committee at the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) since March 2024. Bos functions as a policy advisor for reporting and audit at Eumedion, representing the interests of institutional investors, and also acts as a representative on the IFRS Advisory Council while participating in the Dutch Accounting Standards Foundation and the Committee on Financial Reporting & Audit. Previous experience includes significant roles with the European Financial Reporting Advisory Group, the Dutch Accounting Standards Board, and the International Financial Reporting Standards Foundation, where contributions have focused on regulatory developments and improvements in financial and sustainability reporting standards. Bos holds a Master’s degree in business economics from the University of Groningen, obtained between 1990 and 1996.
