Jethro van Hardeveld is an experienced professional in the fields of regulatory policy and public affairs, currently serving as a Member of the Consultative Working Group of the Commodity Derivatives Task Force at the European Securities and Markets Authority since April 2021. Jethro has held the position of Director of Regulatory Policy at ICE since March 2013, where responsibilities include overseeing regulatory initiatives across various digital networks and exchanges. Prior to this, Jethro worked as Manager of Public and Regulatory Affairs at the European Union Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators from October 2017 to July 2020, and served as a Sr. Public & Regulatory Affairs Advisor and Company Secretary at APX-ENDEX from May 2009 to March 2013. Additional experience includes a role as a Policy Officer in the European Parliament and internships in relevant fields. Jethro holds a Master’s degree in Communication Policy and Media Management from the University of Amsterdam and attended The London School of Economics and Political Science.
