Alexander den Ruijter is an experienced professional in risk management and policy strategy, currently serving as Lead Senior Risk Officer at the European Stability Mechanism since 2012. Previously held roles include Senior Risk Officer, Advisor to the Managing Director, and Policy Strategist at the same organization. Prior to this, Alexander served as a Policy Advisor at the Ministerie van Financiën from 2009 to 2012. Educational credentials include a Master of Arts in Economics from Boston University, a Certificate in Risk Management for Banking and Finance from the University of Zurich, and a Bachelor of Science in International Economics and Finance from Tilburg University, complemented by studies at SGH Warsaw School of Economics.
