Markus von Nida is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in research and development within the field of applied mathematics. Since October 2005, Markus has held the position of Senior Technical Leader and has led the Particle Method Development Group at ESI Group, in addition to serving as a Software Developer. Prior to this, Markus worked as a Research Assistant at Fraunhofer ITWM from 2003 to 2004. Markus holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Applied Mathematics from RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau, completed in 2005, and a Master's Degree in Applied Mathematics from the same institution, obtained in 2001. Additional education includes a year at Chalmers University of Technology and a High School diploma from Käthe-Kollwitz-Gymnasium, which was earned in 1994.
