Scott Hellman has worked in the furniture industry for over 25 years. Scott began their career in 1996 as a Territory Manager for OED Marketing. In this role, they were responsible for managing the sales, operations and growth of a $5M territory for 7 different manufacturers. Scott was accountable for the second largest territory in the company. In 2005, they moved to Newmark Knight Frank as Director of Procurement, where they were responsible for managing and executing all aspects of procuring office furniture, carpet, lighting, sound masking, and all other components of a client's FFE. Scott managed the growth of the procurement department from 5M to 8M, developed and implemented new procurement procedures and standards, and was accountable for the highest revenue producing department in the company. In 2007, they became Owner of A Room Of Their Own, a specialty retail baby and children's furniture store focused on providing high quality furniture and accessories to new and growing families while providing exceptional customer service and product expertise. Scott grew the company from $0 to $2M in just over 2 years, surpassing all industry growth averages. In 2012, they returned to OED Marketing in the role of Territory Manager, where they were responsible for providing the highest level of customer satisfaction by offering quality products, intelligent solutions and value-added services to manufacturers, dealers and their customers. In 2020, they joined ESI as an Area Sales Manager.
Scott Hellman attended LaGrange College from 1991 to 1992 and then transferred to Georgia State University - J. Mack Robinson College of Business, where they earned their BBA in Marketing in 1994.
