Rafael Abrão is an experienced basketball coach and educator with a diverse background in both able-bodied and adaptive sports. Since August 2019, Rafael has served as the Head Basketball Coach at Beacon School, while concurrently teaching basketball at Escola Castanheiras since April 2014. Previous roles include coaching wheelchair basketball at CAD São Paulo, serving as the head coach for the São Paulo men's wheelchair basketball team, and training teams at Associação Desportiva para Deficientes. Rafael's coaching career began with various positions across different institutions, including significant experience as a basketball player for eight years at multiple teams. Rafael holds a degree in Physical Education from Centro Universitário Claretiano, completing studies in 2004.
