Gunay Nematova has extensive work experience in quality assurance and automation engineering. Gunay started their career in 2013 as a Project Control Engineer at Shenzhen Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd., where they managed project life cycles and utilized project management skills. In 2020, they joined Navfort as a Quality Assurance Automation Engineer, where they developed a DDT framework in Selenium WebDriver and TestNG. Gunay then moved on to Centrilli in 2020, where they maintained the QA automation framework and performed various types of testing. In 2021, they worked at Preskok as a Quality Assurance Automation Engineer, where they maintained the Software Requirements Specification document and integrated the test framework with other software development tools. Gunay joined FundThrough in 2022 as a Full Stack Quality Assurance Automation Engineer, before joining Marquistech as a Test Engineer Mobile/loT later in the same year. Gunay is currently employed as a Quality Assurance Engineer at Escher Group.

Gunay Nematova holds a Bachelor's degree in an unspecified field of study from Azerbaijan State University of Economics • UNEC, which they obtained from 2006 to 2010. Gunay then pursued an Executive MBA from Odlar Yurdu' Universiteti, which they completed between 2014 and 2016. Afterwards, Gunay attained a Master of Science degree from Sapienza Università di Roma from 2018 to 2020. Currently, Gunay is a doctoral student at the University of Ljubljana, working towards their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree, which they began in 2020.
