Maurice Myers II currently serves as a Library Computer Technician for the Escambia County Board of County Commissioners since October 2022. Previously, Maurice held the position of Information Technology Coordinator at the Gulf Coast Veterans Advocacy Council from June 2020 to June 2022, where responsibilities included training and technical support for employees. Maurice also worked as a Support Technician at AppRiver, focusing on customer service related to email data protection and Microsoft Cloud productivity from April 2015 to February 2020. Earlier experience includes serving as a Customer Care Representative Technical Support III at Cox Communications, an Operations Team Leader at MULTI-POINT COMMUNICATIONS, and a Security Officer at SECURITY ENGINEERS, INC. Additionally, Maurice was a Systems Manager and Technical Support at the University of Alabama Student Registrar from August 2001 to May 2006. Maurice holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on Computer Science from The University of Alabama.
