John Thomas is an experienced professional currently serving as a Geospatial Systems Specialist at the U.S. Forest Service since October 2022, while concurrently working as an OSP Design Engineer at Ervin Cable Construction LLC since September 2021. Prior experience includes serving as an Automated Logistical Specialist with the US Army from 2010 to 2014. John has pursued a robust educational background, earning a double major in Political Science and Geospatial Analysis from Middle Tennessee State University, and is currently working towards a Master of Science in Geological and Earth Sciences/Geosciences at the same institution, having previously attended Nashville State Community College from 2014 to 2016.
