Oana Sasu is an experienced professional in data management and business intelligence, currently serving as the Head of Group Data Management at Erste Group since October 2013. In this role, Oana has driven the strategy for data management and the implementation of BCBS239, focusing on improving data quality and enhancing documentation. Oana has led large-scale initiatives to optimize Erste Group's BI framework and has previously held various leadership positions, including Head of Group Business Information Center and Head of Group Risk Information Management, where significant emphasis was placed on data quality management and risk reporting. Prior to Erste Group, Oana worked at VOLKSBANK ROMANIA S.A., leading the Basel II and III implementation and overseeing retail credit administration and monitoring. Oana holds a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree from Academia de Studii Economice din București.
