Joel Engels, LEED AP, has extensive experience in the construction industry, currently serving as a Construction Estimator at Erhardt Construction since March 2016. Previously, Engels worked as a Project Estimator at Thornapple Excavating Inc., and held roles as Structure Estimator/Project Manager at VanDam & Krusinga and Project Manager at AVB Construction. Engels began a career in estimating with Genzink Steel, specializing in structural steel take-offs. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Applied Science in Construction Management from Ferris State University and an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Architecture from Grand Rapids Community College.
