Kathy Potts has over 30 years of experience in marketing communications, with their most recent role being VP Marketing Communications at Ergon Inc. Kathy held the position of Director/ Marketing Communications at Ergon Inc. from 2018 to 2021. Prior to that, Kathy worked at The Ramey Agency for over two decades, where they served as Vice President. Kathy also gained experience as Co-Manager at Print Placements and as Advertising Director at the Mississippi Press Association. Kathy started their career as an Admissions Counselor at The University of Mississippi and worked as a Sales Assistant at A. G. Edwards and Sons. Kathy began their marketing career as a Marketing Assistant at Staplcotn Marketing Cooperative.

Kathy Potts obtained their Bachelor of Science in Journalism (BSJ) from the University of Mississippi, specializing in Marketing and Journalism. Kathy attended the university from 1982 to 1986.
