Francois Le Roux is an experienced mining professional with a robust background in various roles within the mining industry. Currently serving as the Head of Mining at ERG Africa since November 2021, Francois previously held the position of Senior Mine Planning Engineer at Khoemacau Copper. A freelance Mining Engineer from January 2017 to January 2021, Francois has also worked as a Group Mining Engineer at Metorex and a Mining Consultant at DRA Global. Additional experience includes roles as Business Development Executive at JS Redpath Limited and Contract Manager at Bouygues (BCJV Gautrain), among others. Francois holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mining from the University of Pretoria, earned between 1998 and 2001.
