Aija Cirule is an experienced professional currently serving as a Community Activator at Erewash Borough Council since May 2022. In this role, Aija engages with the community, collaborates with partners, and promotes healthy lifestyles through physical activity. Prior to this position, Aija worked at IVC Brunel Healthcare Limited for over a decade as a Quality Assurance Inspector, ensuring the timely release of products and assisting in addressing quality issues. Aija also held the position of PE Teacher at Michael House, a Steiner Waldorf School, where the focus was on maximizing physical activity for children and serving as the school's physical activity director. Aija holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Education from the Latvian Academy of Sport Education, obtained between 2005 and 2010.
