Mason Payne currently serves as a System Operator at ERCOT, a position held since June 2023. Prior to this role, Mason was a Control Room Operator at Noralta Technologies Inc. from May 2022 to June 2023, where responsibilities included monitoring process variables, managing alarms for remote wellhead sites, and implementing leak detection systems. Mason has experience in logging pipeline events, managing pump operations, and maintaining communication with clients regarding operational matters. Mason completed education at Splendora High School from August 2011 to June 2015.
