Omar Hassan is an Electric Propulsion Engineer with diverse experience in aerospace and mechanical engineering. Currently serving as an Electric Propulsion Engineer Intern at ERC System since August 2024, Omar previously worked at HORYZN from September 2022 to September 2024, focusing on flight state, performance, and propulsion design within the Loop Team. Omar's earlier internships include designing solar PV solutions and modeling control systems at Spark Renewables, conducting vehicle performance analysis at Abdul Latif Jameel, and gaining foundational knowledge of vehicle systems and engines in earlier roles at the same company. Omar holds a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the Technical University of Munich and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport.
