Mark Mapp is a highly experienced healthcare professional currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of St John Ambulance and Rescue Service, alongside roles as Director for both St John Ambulance & Rescue and St John Guernsey since April 2019. Mark's extensive background includes instructorships with the ERC European Resuscitation Council and the Resuscitation Council (UK), where responsibilities include ensuring course regulation compliance and instructor development. Additional experience includes serving as a Specialist Paramedic with the Health and Care Professions Council and a Paramedic with St John Ambulance since 1998. Prior to their current roles, Mark worked as a hospital emergency preparedness officer and Head of Resuscitation Services for the States of Guernsey. Mark holds multiple qualifications, including a Bachelor's degree in Health & Social Care from Middlesex University and a Bachelor's degree in Professional Practice from the University of East Anglia.
