Karl Smith is an accomplished clinical professional with extensive experience in emergency medicine, currently serving as the Lead Emergency Medicine Advanced Clinical Practitioner at North Bristol NHS Trust since October 2019. Karl holds dual roles as an Advanced Clinical Practitioner and a Trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioner at the University of the West of England, where responsibilities include teaching physical assessment and clinical reasoning. Additional roles include A&E Specialist Nurse with Thornbury Nursing and The Guild, and Advanced Life Support Instructor for both the ERC European Resuscitation Council and the Resuscitation Council (UK).
