Luna van der Gun currently serves as a Promovendus at Erasmus MC, focusing on the prevalence and interactions of mental health issues among Dutch youth in the Generation R study, employing longitudinal network analyses. Prior experience includes serving as a Science Communication Intern at the Nederlands Herseninstituut, where outreach efforts were aimed at making neuroscience accessible to the public through events and content creation. Luna gained research experience as a Research Intern at UMC Utrecht Brain Center and as a Research Assistant at AMC Medical Research BV, as well as teaching experience as a Biology Teaching Assistant at Stichting Studieondersteuning Leiden. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Neuroscience & Cognition from Utrecht University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychobiology from the University of Amsterdam. Additionally, early education includes an Atheneum plus diploma in Nature and Technology/Nature and Health from College de Heemlanden.
